Building Retrofit and Remodel
While you have been out and about you may have noticed that last year we attacked the outside of building for a much needed tidy up. With a smooth re-paint, nice and dry re-roof and clean looking new signage. The building now looks a lot more tidy. We also chucked in a couple of industrial strength Air Conditioners for your comfort while we where at it.
So this time around we decided that it is the interiors turn for a birthday. So for the month of July we will be working through the noise of hammers, skill saws, drills and a whole range of other tools and toys, ( including a Chainsaw and a Jack Hammer ), while we are giving the store a long, ( loooooong ), needed retrofit to liven things up a little and allow us to install the brand spanking machines we have waiting in our store room and the rather large one sitting in a shipping container on a dock in a far away land.
A few of the things we have lined up are :
● New Fully Automatic Front Doors. - Check
● New counters, cabinets, display stands and break-room kitchen, ( manufactured and installed by Gisbornes own Cherrywood Joinery Ltd ). - 90% Complete
● New Reception Counter and Equipment Book In Area, ( manufactured and installed by Gisbornes own Cherrywood Joinery Ltd ). - Check
● New Accounts, Sales and Managers Desking, ( installed by Gisbornes own Office Outlet ). - Check
● New carpets and flooring, ( supplied and installed by Gisbornes own Floorstore ). - Check
● One word : GALAXY - Installation Now Underway
● Removal of the 1980 style Entry Way, ( complete with plastic plants and lime green pillars ). - Check
● A nearly full clean out, re-wire and re-fit of all data cables, power cables, plugs, sockets and jacks. - 90% Complete
● but best of all, a brand spanking, very, very wicked, tricked out 47u Server Rack. Filled to the brink with gear for work, ( and a few toys for play ). - 75% Complete

HP Designjet Z6100 ( 1200 dpi ) Large Format Printer
Using an HP Designjet Z6100 Large Format Printer we can print banners, posters and general signage all at an amazingly crisp 1200 dpi. We can print black and white or vivid colour on widths up to 1.5m ( 1500 cm ) and lengths only limited by the size of the rolls, ( some are 30 or 50 meters in length ). Just give us a call with your planned length and we'll let you know if we can print that size for you.
Various medias can be used inlculding, Plain Papers, Adhesive Backed, Photo Papers, Canvas and Synthetic.
Oce Plotwave 300 Large Format Scanner / Printer
Using an Oce Plotwave 300 Large Format Scanner / Printer we can scan an existing Black and White or Full Colour paper document of up to A0 size, ( 841 mm x 1189 mm at 600 dpi ), and then save, email or print, ( at 600 x 1200 dpi ), them out for you. so bring in those old plans or posters and get some copies made now.

Toll Free Calling
We are proud to announce the release of toll-free direct dial-in numbers to us for the Ruatoria Area and the Wairoa Area. These numbers can be used from these areas without incurring a toll charge on calls to us here in Gisborne. These numbers connect straight in to our PABX, ( Phone System ), so you'll be presented with the same menu you would get when dialling our usual 06 868 6096 number, just without the toll cost.

As of the 15th of February 2010, Business Applications Limited, our parent company became a carboNZero Certified Small Enterprise company. Making us one of the first to companies in Gisborne to achieve this qualification.
